About Dr. Foust
Dr. Foust graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelors of Science in the Biomedical Science program through the College of Veterinary Medicine of Texas A&M University, College Station in 2004. In 2005, he began his dental school training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated in 2009. In that same year, Dr. Foust began his residency training in Laredo and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in 2010.
Through his training as an AEGD resident, Dr. Foust administered I.V. sedation and performed complicated surgeries for both healthy and medically-compromised patients. During his residency, Dr. Foust discovered that his passion in dentistry was to provide I.V. sedation and oral surgery services to his patients, so he then decided to focus his career as a general dentist on providing these services for other practitioners. Since starting his practice, Dr. Foust has provided safe, comfortable and compassionate surgical services in hundreds of dental offices and for thousands of patients in and around Houston. He believes in working together with patients and their dentists in order to ensure they receive surgical care that exceeds expectations.
Dr. Foust is trained and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and engages in many hours of continuing education in sedation safety each year. In addition to training his own team well, he also teaches patient safety and emergency prevention/response to area dentists and their teams.
